Surrey Soroptimists, The University of Surrey, and Surrey Library Service have teamed up to offer a Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths Challenge designed to encourage more girls into STEM careers.  It starts in October and ends in February 2017, with a judged event at the University in March.

Prize:  £250 for the girls’ team, £250 for the school.

The girls can also take the opportunity to earn their Bronze or Silver CREST Awards.

The Challenge is:

Create a solution to help people in the poorest parts of our world.

Up to 5 girls in a team.

Schools may enter as many teams as would like to participate.
