On 21 August the newly opened Guildford Library Filmspace was hosting Coleen and her crew of young filmmakers. They were working hard on their first music video. The young crew was learning how to direct, plan and film their own video, testing our Padcasters. Everyone had a chance to become a director or a film star, see what role would suit them best. Not a minute was wasted and now there is a lot of footage to edit.

The next workshop is planned on 28 August and is fully booked already!

To see what was going on during the first stages of the production, go to Surrey Libraries Facebook page:

If you have an idea for a film and would you like to work on something to promote your business, then book your slot with the Filmspace! We have a new editing software on our disposal – Movavi – anyone can use to edit his own footage.

If you would like to have a go, please, contact Surrey libraries on libraries@surreycc.gov.uk to book your slot. We can provide you with a short introduction to the Padcasters and to the Movavi software, so you are able to take control of your own production from start to finish!

Do you know we have now a YouTube channel? Please, have a look to see what we are up to!
