Thanks to members of the Women's Digital Club we hosted a series of successful children's maker events at Guildford Library over the summer. During these sessions the children got to hack their teddies with LEDs and electronics; build a virtual world and explore it via their own Google Cardboard VR headsets; and code a Harry Potter sorting hat using Micro:bits. The sessions were inspirational and a lot of fun for the young makers who attended. Keep an eye on this site for future events.
